The Leadership of SNSN
The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Sen. Natasha Supporters Network (SNSN) serves as the central coordinating body responsible for providing leadership, direction and administrative coordination across the Network.
The Council works to translate the vision, mission and objectives of SNSN into organized programmes, policies and activities while maintaining effective communication between the national leadership, state structures, local coordinators, volunteers and members.
The NEC operates under the founding vision of Comr. Nasiru Bright, Founder of SNSN, and is committed to building a united, disciplined, transparent and service-oriented organization.
OUR ROLE
The National Executive Council provides overall coordination for the activities and development of SNSN.
Its responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic direction for the Network
- Coordinating national programmes and activities
- Supporting the development of state and grassroots structures
- Promoting membership growth and participation
- Maintaining effective communication
- Supporting community engagement
- Encouraging youth and women’s participation
- Coordinating volunteers
- Promoting accountability and responsible leadership
- Protecting the values and objectives of SNSN
- Supporting the long-term development of the Network
COMPOSITION OF THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
The National Executive Council may consist of the following recognized officers:
1. FOUNDER
Comr. Nasiru Bright
The Founder provides the foundational vision and leadership framework upon which SNSN was established.
2. NATIONAL COORDINATOR
Provides overall administrative and operational coordination of the Network and works with other national officers to implement approved programmes and objectives.
3. DEPUTY NATIONAL COORDINATOR
Assists the National Coordinator and performs delegated responsibilities in support of national coordination.
4. NATIONAL SECRETARY
Responsible for official correspondence, documentation, meeting records, notices and other administrative matters of the Council.
5. ASSISTANT NATIONAL SECRETARY
Assists the National Secretary with documentation, correspondence and administrative responsibilities.
6. NATIONAL ORGANIZING SECRETARY
Coordinates organizational activities, meetings, mobilization and approved national programmes.
7. ASSISTANT NATIONAL ORGANIZING SECRETARY
Supports the National Organizing Secretary in planning and coordinating activities.
8. NATIONAL PUBLICITY SECRETARY
Coordinates approved public communications, announcements, publicity and information dissemination on behalf of the Network.
9. ASSISTANT NATIONAL PUBLICITY SECRETARY
Supports publicity activities and assists with communication and information management.
10. NATIONAL TREASURER
Responsible for supporting the proper management and documentation of approved organizational funds in accordance with SNSN’s financial procedures.
11. FINANCIAL SECRETARY
Maintains appropriate financial records and supports the financial administration of the Network.
12. NATIONAL WELFARE COORDINATOR
Coordinates appropriate welfare-related initiatives and supports member welfare programmes.
13. NATIONAL YOUTH COORDINATOR
Promotes youth participation and coordinates approved youth-focused activities and programmes.
14. NATIONAL WOMEN COORDINATOR
Supports women’s participation, empowerment initiatives and activities involving women within the Network.
15. NATIONAL MOBILIZATION COORDINATOR
Supports membership mobilization, grassroots engagement and coordination of volunteers.
16. NATIONAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
Coordinates approved media activities, content development, photography, video documentation and media relations.
17. ICT / DIGITAL COORDINATOR
Supports the Network’s website, digital membership systems, online communication and technology-related activities.
18. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Supports community-focused initiatives and helps coordinate approved development and outreach activities.
19. LEGAL / ADVISORY REPRESENTATIVE
Where formally appointed, provides appropriate guidance on organizational procedures, documentation and legal or regulatory matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NEC
Strategic Direction
The NEC provides strategic guidance for the development of SNSN.
It considers the Network’s long-term objectives and works toward establishing programmes and structures that support sustainable growth.
Membership Development
The Council supports the development of effective membership systems and encourages responsible participation.
This may include:
- Membership registration
- Membership verification
- Chapter development
- Member communication
- Volunteer recruitment
- Membership engagement
Grassroots Coordination
The NEC works with recognized state, LGA and ward structures to strengthen grassroots participation.
The objective is to ensure that national initiatives can be properly communicated and coordinated at the local level.
Programme Coordination
The Council may coordinate approved:
- Conferences
- Meetings
- Workshops
- Community activities
- Empowerment programmes
- Youth programmes
- Women’s programmes
- Volunteer initiatives

Communication
Effective communication is essential to the Network.

NEC MEETINGS
The National Executive Council may meet periodically to:
